BOLD FUTURE is the most exciting project that has ever been undertaken on the Gold Coast.

BOLD FUTURE will develop a blueprint for the Gold Coast for the next three decades to the year 2037.

Council’s vision for this city is that it be sustainable – economically, socially and environmentally - for our children and our children’s children.

The Gold Coast City Council has been working towards a sustainable lifestyle, economy and environment for the city since 1998.

New challenges have been identified based on work that has been done in the past and the work that is being currently done. These challenges include Climate change and affect our energy future, our water future, our beaches future, our cultural future, our economic future, our environmental future, our transport future, our land use future and our community future.

The challenges must be met if the city is to have a sustainable future.

Through BOLD FUTURE we are taking that information to the community and asking you to give us your preferred future for our city.
